First Season[]

01- "It Begins"[]

Airdate: 18 December 2004

A new girl, Will Vandom, arrives in Heatherfield and introduces herself to Irma Lair, Taranee Cook, Cornelia Hale and Hay Lin. Meanwhile, all of them see something wrong on them. Meanwhile on the evil world, Meridian, which was good in the past, a rebel leader, Caleb and his friend Aldarn try to take the weapons which the evil Prince Phobos stolen. Caleb and Aldarn are spotted and run away. They arrive to Hoogong Gorge and escape by the Hoogongs.

Back on Earth, Hay Lin takes Will, Irma, Taranee and Cornelia to her house inside the restaurant, Silver Dragon. Her grandmother, Yan Lin, arrives. She tells them about the Meridian and the Veil in which the portals are opening. Yan Lin says there are the Guardians who are closing the portals by using their powers. Yan Lin shows the Heart of Kandrakar and says they've got the powers. Irma sees she can control water, Taranee sees she can control fire, Cornelia sees she can control earth and Hay Lin sees she can control air. Yan Lin gives Will the Heart saying the one of the five unites the others. Now the Guardians are Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin. Back on Meridian, Caleb and Aldarn escaped and go to Infinite City. Caleb says he can't go, because he must go to Earth to find the real taker of the throne. While trying to find the portal, Caleb is attacked by Phobos' minion, who turns into lizard, Lord Cedric.

Back on Earth, the girls decide to exercise their powers under the bridge. Will transforms and unites the others. The girls are surprised with their Guardian look. The girls play with their powers. It's getting dark and Will un-transforms the others. Back on Meridian, Cedric chases Caleb and Caleb spots the portal. Back on Earth, Hay Lin spots the portal. Caleb appears and Cedric soon shows up. The girls transform and fight with Cedric. Caleb yells to close the portal and Will uses the Heart to do this, but, as Will closes the portal, Caleb is kidnapped. After what had happened, the girls reported to Yan Lin about what had happened under the bridge. Hay Lin draws a photo of Lord Cedric and recognizes it as Lord Cedric. The next day, the girls went to school. They wondered what had happened to Caleb after Cedric took him. When walking back home. Will went into an alley, while the other girls went straight. As she was walking into the alley. A portal appeared and Will accidentally went in the portal. All was left was her backpack, with the Heart of Kandrakar in it.


02- "It Resumes"[]

Airdate: 18 December 2004

Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin must travel to Meridian after Will is captured by Cedric and Vathek. But they cannot transform without Will who dropped the Heart of Kandrakar in the struggle, and now the Heart leads them to find its Keeper. The girls make their way through Meridian, finding Will's pit-like prison, where she is being kept with Caleb and a smelly creature, Blunk. They throw the Heart down and transform, escaping the castle.

A one-eyed Gargoyle ambushes them at the portal, grabbing Irma through the portal but Will closes it on his hand. In the end, Hay Lin decides to have a name for the girls: W.I.T.C.H.(the first letters of their names). In the B-story, the girls struggle to be Will's new friends.


03- "The Key"[]

Airdate: 29 January 2005

When Caleb discovers that Blunk took the key he was suppose to leave behind in Meridian for Vathek, the girls return to Meridian to return the key before Cedric and Phobos discover Vathek is a spy for the rebel army.

They plant the key on a general, Raythor and he, instead of Vathek will be thrown into the Abyss of Shadows. In the B-story, Hay Lin decides to create for Caleb some new clothes to help him blend in on Earth.


04- "Happy Birthday Will"[]

Airdate: 5 February 2005

It's Will's birthday and if there's one thing she does not want, it's a party. The girls manage to throw one anyway and everything is going swimmingly until Cedric shows at City Hall looking for birth certificates for a certain teenage girl. Apparently, Prince Phobos has a long lost sister on Earth. The girls sneak away from the party and battle Cedric at City Hall, until he flees saying he has all he needs. In the B-story, Yan Lin gives her granddaughter the Map of Portals. In the C-story, Martin sees Hay Lin throw food out the window. She is really giving some party food to Blunk, but she cannot tell this to Martin so she says that it is a family tradition to throw food out the window for good luck. Martin then tells the other kids that if they do it too, their wish will come come true (the more food, the bigger the wish) and they all throw food out the window. Dougnuts are hailed on Blunk, who is very happy when he sees that it is food.


05- "A Service to the Community"[]

Airdate: 12 February 2005

While helping out in Community Service Day, Will and Hay Lin find a strange Meridian graffiti which the Mage identifies as belonging to a beast, living in Heatherfield in human form. Will suspects her History teacher, Professor Collins and the girls immediately formulate a plot to force the suspected monster into revealing his true form.

The plan goes well until it turns out Collins is not the beast. They fly him back home, accidentally dropping him onto trampolines and into swimming pools on more than one occasion. In the B-story, Will's mother and Professor Collins start dating.


06- "The Labyrinth"[]

Airdate: 19 February 2005

The students at Sheffield Institute get their midterm results; everybody is happy with their grades except Taranee. Cedric's disguise as a bookseller attracts Cornelia, Elyon, Irma, Taranee, and Hay Lin to the store to look for history books and to admire Cedric. While in the bookstore, the W.I.T.C.H. girls inadvertently touch an inversion point and find themselves in the middle of a Labyrinth inside Phobos' castle. Blunk, who was in the store at the time, manages to get word to Will. Will and Caleb launch a rescue mission. Meanwhile, the others are smuggled out of the castle by a kitchen worker named Trill, who tells them about Phobos' sister. The Tracker, a hunter working for Phobos, arrives and chases the girls through the woods until Will shows up with the Heart. They quickly defeat the Tracker. In the B-story, Caleb starts work at the Silver Dragon restaurant.


07- "Divide and Conquer"[]

Airdate: 26 February 2005

The W.I.T.C.H. girls and Elyon go on a school skiing trip to show up Sondra, a Swiss exchange student who seems to have mesmerized all the boys at Sheffield. Sondra steals Matt from Will, and the two girls compete in a one-on-one skiing competition. Will tries to cheat by skiing in her guardian form (with a coat and hat to cover it up). Hay Lin flies above her and uses her powers to keep Will steady. Unknown to them, Phobos wants to take advantage of this trip to divide them and separate the other four Guardians from Will and the Heart of Kandrakar. The girls defeat the plan and find out that Sondra is not a Swiss exchange student at all, but an ordinary girl who tries to steal all the boys. The girls (and Elyon) are pleased when Sondra sprains her ankle. In the B-story, Caleb is trying to show the girls that he can have fun.


08- "Ambush at Torus Filney"[]

Airdate: 5 March 2005

Phobos and Cedric start a rumor about the Seal of Phobos only to trap Caleb with a sand monster called Sandpit (Wild sand that sucked in himself all those who approached and him) to find out whether there is a spy in the castle or not. In the B-story, W.I.T.C.H. go to have a performance at the school, but after discovering Caleb is in danger, they create Astral Drops. After the real girls leave, the Astral Drops ruin the performance. The guardians rescued Caleb and turned the sand in to glass and made it possible for the villagers to leave in peace and for the children to play on the sand glass.


09- "Return of the Tracker"[]

Airdate: 12 March 2005

Prince Phobos sends the Tracker after Caleb in an effort to recapture the rebel leader. Meanwhile, the girls all try to go see a movie starring their favorite actor. But will they be able to save Caleb and defeat an old foe and get to the show on time? In the B-story, Will is grounded for having bad grades. Hay Lin is also grounded, but not for long. Irma is upset when she finds out she must babysit her brother and Yan Lin replaces her.


10- "Framed"[]

Airdate: 19 March 2005

While at the Art Museum trying to capture the feeling of the middle ages for their school carnival, Will, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin get sucked into the painting they are studying. Unbeknownst to the girls, Phobos knows they are trapped in the painting and sends Frost the Hunter after them, but the girls escape with the help of Elias Van Dahl, the imprisoned artist of the painting.

Meanwhile, Irma, Caleb and Blunk have to stall for time at the Medieval Carnival and figure out how to get the girls back to Heatherfield. Anachronistic hell breaks loose when Cedric and his goon platoon enter the painting to get the Heart of Kandrakar and the girls (namely Hay Lin as art is her area of expertise) have to paint like mad to get away. Irma and Caleb rescue the girls from the painting and manage to salvage the school carnival thanks to the number of people they brought back with them from the painting. In the B-story, Will decides to have a Medieval Carnival at school.


11- "The Stone of Threbe"[]

Airdate: 2 April 2005

Phobos has finally found an indisputable way to find his long lost sister: the Star of Threbe. Back in Heatherfield, the Silver Dragon (Hay Lin's family's restaurant) is threatened when Blunk stinks up the joint with his new "home": a garbage dumpster. While the girls try to give Blunk a much needed bath, Cedric places the Star in his window shop and Elyon walks in and takes it. Now when the girls try to change back, they find themselves stuck in Guardian form and powerless. Not knowing what to do, the girls race back to the Silver Dragon to enlist Yan Lin's and Caleb's assistance.

In the meantime, Cedric sends a monster plant to Earth to tie up the Guardians while he makes contact with the Princess.

The girls are forced to fight without their powers until the Princess returns the Star to Cedric, which leads the girls back to their powers. Unfortunately, Phobos and Cedric have who they're looking for, she just does not know it yet. In the B-story, Blunk wants to not going to bath.


12- "The Princess Revealed"[]

Airdate: 16 April 2005

Elyon is Phobos's sister and the true heir to the throne of Meridian, she just does not know it yet. Vathek overhears Phobos and Cedric's plans for capturing her and hurries to tell Caleb only to end up running for his life when Cedric comes to stop him. Vathek and Blunk escape to Earth with Cedric and a worm-looking monster, called a Larvek hot on their heels. Vathek relates the news to Caleb who relates the news to the Guardians and they go after Elyon to keep her safe from Cedric's clutches, however, they have to hold off the Larvek from eating Vathek and Elyon slips off in a bad mood after her new beau gives her the heave-ho. She heads back to her place of comfort: Cedric's bookshop. In the B-story, Elyon starts dating with Bryan, but, thanks to Guardians' keeping the eye on Elyon, Bryan breaks up with her.


13- "Stop the Presses"[]

Airdate: 23 April 2005

Phobos is preparing the Ritual of Amalgamation. He needs symbols of Elyon's body, mind, and spirit. Cedric takes her hairbrush, A+ math test, and is trying to take her breath. Taranee and an unwilling Irma become part of the newspaper staff. They send Blunk to keep watch over Elyon and they also found out there's a portal at the school. Meanwhile, Martin catches a glimpse of a hermeneuta beast from Meridian and the only thing that will get him away long enough for the girls to send it back home is a date with Irma.

Catching the little beast is not as easy as it sounds, especially when the mom shows up. In the end, Cedric finally captures Elyon's breath in a balloon and all that's left is to take her to Meridian. In the B-story, Irma is angry when she finds out she must work on the newspaper with Martin, and Caleb and Blunk are assigned to keep the eye on Elyon.


14- "Parents Night"[]

Airdate: 30 April 2005

It's parents' night at the school, and nobody (except Hay Lin) seems very excited, especially Elyon. She feels that Cedric is the only one who understands her, not her friends, and especially not her family. When Elyon does her family tree research, her parents do not have any pictures of her other relatives. Elyon thinks that it's because they do not care about her but it's for a whole other reason.

Cedric reveals to Elyon, that her parents are beasts, and that she is the Princess of Meridian. Elyon is so confused but she goes to Meridian, her original home.

In the B-story, Elyon is lied to by Cedric, her parents and Phobos for everything. Elyon also discovers the Guardians to be her friends and displays her powers for the first time when she lashes out in retaliation and anger.


15- "The Mudslugs"[]

Airdate: 7 May 2005

Elyon seems to have adjusted to her new life as the Princess of Meridian, living in Phobos' castle, although she is still under the illusion that Phobos has created. Meanwhile, Cornelia gets so upset about losing Elyon to Cedric and Phobos that she quits being the Earth Guardian.

Phobos uses this to his advantage to pull a "divide and conquer" move on Will, Irma, Taranee and Hay Lin. Phobos sends the mudslugs to go after Will, Irma, Taranee, Hay Lin, Caleb and Blunk. Without Cornelia, the girls are powrless to defeat the mudslugs and their mother.

Thanks to radio, Cornelia returns to being the Earth Guardian and defeats the mudslugs. In the B-story, Cornelia destroys the friendship with the others when she misses Elyon.


16- "Ghosts of Elyon"[]

Airdate: 20 May 2005

Will and the rest of the girls try to tell Elyon the truth about Phobos and Meridian, but that becomes very hard when Phobos teaches his sister to make ghostly images of herself to confuse her former friends and the rebels.

The real Elyon is upset that she didn’t bring her sketchbook from Earth so Phobos sends Lurdens through a portal to her old bedroom to fetch it. But the creatures also trash a stash of chocolate, the scent from which Blunk is able to follow to Phobos's and Elyon's secret Meridian mountain hideout.

The Guardians and Caleb search for Elyon under the mountain but are ambushed by Lurdens. Forced into the open, they battle Cedric on the mountainside before returning to Earth, no closer to warning Elyon of the terrible danger she's in.

In the B-story, Will needs some privacy. In order to save Elyon, the girls trick their parents they'll have a sleepover party, but Will is grounded for having a mess on her room.


17- "The Mogriffs"[]

Airdate: 23 May 2005

Phobos sends a group of Mogriffs, shape-shifting monsters, into Meridian to pose as and discredit the Guardians so Elyon will lose what little trust she has left in her friends. While the real Guardians do battle with the evil twins, Cornelia and Caleb try to persuade Elyon that Phobos is not as good as she believes, but she will not listen.

Caleb, however, does something to shake Elyon's faith in her new brother: he bows to her. Unnerved by this, Elyon is starting to suspect that Phobos is not telling her everything. Caleb takes the Book of Secrets and there are the plans for Elyon. In the B-story, Cornelia finds out that Elyon, who's talking with her is the real Elyon.


18- "Walk This Way"[]

Airdate: 6 June 2005

An astonished Caleb discovers that fellow rebels have been turned into zombified Trance Marchers by the sound of a magical object called the Horn of Hypnos. Thanks to the Horn, Phobos and Cedric now use the rebels as workforce. But when Blunk steals the Horn and brings it back to Earth, the trance starts to spread to Heatherfield.

The Guardians are called in to help save the Horn's victims and on School Dance night, too. Only a specific melody can break the spell, but how long will Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin be able to resist the entrancing sound of the Horn of Hypnos? And what's even more alarming: Poor Hay Lin gets turned into a Trance Marcher.

The only way they can get her to stop slamming them into a wall, is to pull the plug on her power. In the B-story, Will is so happy when she finds out she will go to School Dance night with Matt.

Note: In production, this episode was produced before "The Mogriffs" was, but in series order, it was aired before "The Underwater Mines."


19- "The Underwater Mines"[]

Airdate: 13 June 2005

Phobos uses the knowledge of Caleb's father's being alive to lure him and the Guardians to the Underwater Mines for an ambush. Fortunately, Hay Lin hears the guards whisperings, which allows the group's unimpeded access to the mines. However, the element of surprise is soon lost and the group is on the move.

Cedric floods the mine and sends the group plus Caleb's dad on a mine cart ride to the main shaft. Once there, they use the guardroom to float to the surface and come face-to-lizard face with Cedric and a platoon of guards.

Cedric tries to go after Caleb and the miners stranded in the remains of the guardroom, but Irma and Hay Lin cool Cedric out with a flash-frozen bubble. Phobos is sitting pretty in his castle, thinking that he has taken care of the major thorns in his side until the girls show up with the last laugh in his scrying pool.

In the B-story, W.I.T.C.H, Caleb and Blunk try to open the Book of Secrets.


20- "The Seal of Phobos"[]

Airdate: 20 June 2005

Ever since the mysterious woman who rescued Elyon as a baby used the Seal to create a portal and escape, it has been lost. While hiding from Lurdens in the sewers, Blunk finds an amulet to add to his junk collection, which turns out to be the Seal of Phobos. Unknowingly, he creates many portals while strolling around Heatherfield.

Meanwhile W.I.T.C.H. are at a rollerskating race. They find the portals when Irma crashes uncontrollably through bushes (Uriah's fault!).

Back in Meridian, Caleb is trying to evade a search party, but is trapped when all the portals created by Blunk are closed by the Heart of Kandrakar and Cedric is gaining on him. When the girls find Blunk, and unforeseen amount of circumstances leads to the merging of the two magical items, and W.I.T.C.H. uses the Heart's new ability to open portals to save Caleb.

Will then uses the Heart to open the Book of Secrets, because the Seal of Phobos can open the Book of Secrets, and everybody finds out Phobos' plan.

In the B-story, Phobos lies to Elyon her friends are still trying to get her back to Earth and Elyon decides they'll never came back.


21- "Escape From Cavigor"[]

Airdate: 27 June 2005

Caleb learns that Elyon's parents, the Browns, are being held in the forbidden underground prison at Cavigor. He and the Guardians plot a difficult escape: while a distraction from above draws guards upwards, Cornelia will tunnel in from the Infinite City below.

Also, they will escape through a portal, and everyone will think that's how they got in. But one slip and Phobos will discover the rebels’ secret subterranean hideout.

The plan goes smoothly until Cedric and about a thousand soldiers show up. Irma distracts Cedric while Hay Lin and Taranee go to warn Will. Hay Lin opens all the cell gates, but also freeing the scuttlers. Taranee goes to help her, and Cornelia goes to help Irma. They escape in a nick of time as the scuttlers and Cedric were approaching.

In the B-story, Elyon wants to see her parents again and Hay Lin acts goofy.


22- "Caleb's Challenge"[]

Airdate: 11 July 2005

Caleb, Aldarn and a few other rebels go to Meridian's mill for grain, but they get caught. Only Caleb escapes and goes to seek help from the guardians. But when Aldarn accidentally becomes hypnotized by Elyon (and she doesn't know it) into signing a peace treaty, Caleb has to fight him for the position of leader.

W.I.T.C.H must leave their baking duties to Blunk (big mistake!) and goes to figure out what the deal is with this peace treaty at the Hoogong nesting grounds. They trigger a trap and almost get eaten by the Larvek hatchlings.

After W.I.T.C.H defeats them, they go to the arena to warn everybody. Caleb defeats Aldarn, not only securing his place as the rebel leader, but also saving his friend.

They decide not to go to the signing of the peace treaty and instead go to the mill for the grain, believing it is a good time to infiltrate while Phobos is distracted. A duplicate of Elyon returns her grudge against the rebels.

In the B-story, W.I.T.C.H must cook pancakes and cookies for the school bake sale.


23- "The Battle of Meridian Plains"[]

Airdate: 25 July 2005

Cedric blocks the village's water source, in the hopes that thirsty Meridianites will break down and reveal the location of the rebels’ secret hideout. There's fresh water in a nearby lake but it's inhabited by an elusive creature called the Kaithim, which the Guardians have to battle.

Cedric discovers the entrance to the Infinite City, just before Vathek is able to seal his comrades inside. Aldarn, separated from Caleb and with limited food before the City is inevitably overtaken, makes a tactical decision to charge the Castle.

Caleb and the Guardians join the premature attack but the uprising fails as Elyon uses her intense power. Many rebels, including Aldarn and Caleb's father, are thrown in Phobos's dungeons.

In the B-story, Hay Lin is having a nightmare about being Elyon and trapped in a throne.


24- "The Rebel Rescue"[]

Airdate: 1 August 2005

Caleb is making plans for the escape of the rebels captured by Phobos in the abortive battle of the Meridian Plains. With Blunk's help, he tries to map the tunnel system to the castle's dungeon, but the reconnaissance mission goes wrong and Blunk is left behind on Meridian.

Looking for the Passling, Caleb and the Guardians find and save a Castle Guard wounded in battle and left for dead by Cedric. When the Guard, Tynar, sees Earth and the girls’ concern for his recovery, he switches loyalties and promises to guide them through the complex subterranean passageways into the dungeons where the rebels from the uprising are being held.

The daring raid frees the rebels, and Tynar begins spreading the word among Phobos's guards that the other side of the Veil is not as they’ve been told. Back in Heatherfield, Will impulsively kisses Matt, who has offered her a pet dormouse named Mr. Huggles earlier in the episode.

In the B-story, Will is forced by her mother to give Mr. Huggles to Irma.


25- "The Stolen Heart"[]

Airdate: 8 August 2005

In Meridian, the Infinite City occupied by Phobos' guards leaves a thousand rebels with nowhere to hide while Elyon, though shaken by the sight of monstrous Lurdens working in her castle, is still blissfully unaware of what's being planned for her Coronation.

Caleb and the Guardians have to get close enough to warn her, but how can they without the Heart of Kandrakar which has been stolen by Jeek, an evil Passling, and putting the blame on Blunk?

Things get crazy when Matt accidentally follows Caleb and the girls through a portal. Things get even crazier when Matt discovers Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin's secret!

In the B-story, Cornelia is very angry because of Irma's jokes.


26- "The Final Battle"[]

Airdate: 17 August 2005

In Meridian, Elyon is at the apogee of her powers and excitedly prepares for tomorrow's Coronation. But Phobos and Cedric talk out of her earshot: there's something afoot that Phobos isn’t telling his sister: The Coronation was changed to today in which Phobos will drain Elyon's powers.

Meanwhile in Heatherfield, Caleb has finally figured out with the Guardians’ help a way to get his men across the Meridian Plains unseen and immediately commences the attack after Cornelia sensed Elyon was in danger.

Indeed in Meridian, Phobos revealed to Elyon his true self and scared her, then tied her to the throne in order to take her powers. Even worse, Lord Cedric, who lured Elyon into "coming home", revealed his true self, the people in the portraits of the royal family were goblin-like Meridian aristocrats siding with Prince Phobos all along, as does Miranda who revealed her true identity as Phobos' servant.

But the Guardians, the Rebels, Matt, Blunk and some guards of Phobos converted by Tynar, began the invasion. The final battle is about to begin. The Guardians and Caleb's troops were winning until Phobos, who managed to steal some of Elyon's power, came and turned the tables on them. But just before he could take the Heart of Kandrakar, Elyon (who was rescued by Cornelia) arrived and turned the tide of the battle.

With Elyon's help, Phobos was defeated and imprisoned along with Cedric and all of his monsters in the Mage's chamber in the Infinite City, but the Guards were forgiven and Elyon became the ruler of Meridian.

In the b-story, Irma gives Mr. Huggles to Hay Lin. Caleb and Cornelia share their first kiss.



Second Season[]

1 (27)- "A is for Anonymous"[]

Airdate: 5 June 2006

While everyone is celebrating Phobos's defeat, a kitchen worker named Trill gives Queen Elyon a jewel what belonged to her mother, Queen Weira. Caleb reveals his intentions to stay in Meridian and serve Queen Elyon to Cornelia.

As Taranee starts thinking she will turn into an "invisible girl" again, the Guardians are faced with an old enemy, Frost, the Hunter, who followed them to Earth. Frost kidnaps Irma, Cornelia and Hay Lin and gives Taranee a ransom: Take Will to the cave, but without the Heart of Kandrakar or she'll never see her friends.

After taking Will to the cave, Frost captures Will and Taranee and Taranee gives Will the Heart back. Then, as expected, the girls transform and free themselves. While on the battle, a portal suddenly appears and Frost escapes. Taranee admits all to her friends and Cornelia decides to be still The Guardians.

In the B-story, a new foe called Nerissa appears as she frees Miranda, Gargoyle, the Tracker, Sandpit and Raythor and meets Frost. Now the enemies who Nerissa released are called Knights of Vengeance.


2 (28)- "B is for Betrayal"[]

Airdate: 16 June 2006

The Knights of Vengeance attack Meridian and begin targeting those, who betrayed their former master's loyalty. Back on Earth, the Guardians are called to another realm, Kandrakar, and learn of their new status as the Guardians of the Infinite Dimensions, after the Veil's lifting. The girls notice a sudden change in Cornelia's powers. Cornelia is still angry with Caleb for remaining on Meridian after Phobos' defeat.

In the B-story, Cornelia has a crush on Taranee's brother, Peter Cook. He's uninterested in his little sister's friend until the end of the episode, when Cornelia, though not in Guardian form, retains her Guardian figure. The other girls tell Peter she's Cornelia's older sister, Lillian. Also, Will gives Cornelia a kitten, but Cornelia gives him to Lillian, who names the cat Napoleon.


3 (29)- "C is for Changes"[]

Airdate: 19 June 2006

The Guardians are taken by surprise by their new powers: Will now can talk to electrical appliances, Irma now can use mind control, Taranee now can use telepathy, Cornelia now can use telekinesis and Hay Lin can become invisible, while the Knights of Vengeance devise a plan to frame the girls for Elyon's disappearance.

Alchemy, worried about Elyon, convinces Principal Knickerbocker to report her missing. The next day at school all five girls, as Elyon's friends, as questioned by Maria Medina and Joel McTiennan. Each comes up with a different story as to where Elyon and her family have gone on vacation and says they heard it from one of the others (except Taranee, who we do not see answer).

Afterwards Miranda, posing as a new student named Melinda, tells the police that she is scared of the others girls (W.I.T.C.H.), and that they pretended to be Elyon's friends but secretly hated her and the last time she saw Elyon, she was leaving with the other girls who had a surprise for her in her basement.

Sandpit steals Will's calculator (with her initials on it), Sammy, from her windowsill and it is planted in Elyon's basement. Medina and McTiennan discover it when they investigate. They confront Will with the evidence at her apartment. She slips her cell phone, Ed, into the evidence bag, then asks to go to the bathroom and locks the door and sneaks out the window.

She meets the other girls and they use Ed to talk to Sammy who tells them what happened. They realize Sandpit and Miranda are framing them. While Hay-Lin, Taranee, and Cornelia fight Sandpit and Miranda at the Brown home, Irma uses her new power to convince her father, Medina, and McTiennan to go to the airport. When they arrive they see Will and follow her until they see Elyon and her parents, seemingly just arrived home from their very long vacation.

Elyon introduces her "cousin" Caleb, and new puppy, Blunk to Irma and Will for the benefit of the police present. Later she tells the girls they will be commuting from Meridian until the school year is finished.

In the B-story, Will, thanks to her new powers, is grounded for cheating during a history test (actually arguing with her calculator) and getting bad grades. Because of this, Will's mother decides that Will is not adjusting to Heatherfield and she must do what is best for her daughter and move them back to Fadden Hills.

Also, Irma's father is upset with her for not telling him Elyon was missing and thinks she might be lying about where Elyon is/what happened to her. He says she's been acting odd and disappearing all the time for months. In the end, after Elyon returns home, confirming Irma's story, he apologizes and tells her he is proud of who she is growing up to be.


4 (30)- "D is for Dangerous"[]

Airdate: 26 June 2006

W.I.T.C.H.'s new foe, Nerissa, creates beings known as Annihilators, and sends them on a rampage in Meridian, while Elyon is on Earth.

Will uses her power over Quintessence in the form of lightning to defeat the Annihilators. Meanwhile Matt is training with the help of Caleb, to become more useful.

In the B-story, Mr. Huggles escapes from the cage and creates a chaos on restaurant. Thanks to that, Hay Lin gives Mr. Huggles to Taranee, but Taranee's father has an allergy to fur.

Taranee gives Mr. Huggles to Cornelia. Lillian frees Mr. Huggles to meet Napoleon, but both pets are making a chaos. Cornelia gives Mr. Huggles to Elyon, but Mr. Huggles escapes again and returns to Matt.


5 (31)- "E is for Enemy"[]

Airdate: 14 July 2006

Will experiences a frighteningly realistic dream, and gets in trouble for sleeping in class. Her mother, thinking Heatherfield isn't working out for them, decides to transfer back to Fadden Hills. The other girls realize that they were having the same nightmares, and Will tells them about returning to Fadden Hills.

W.I.T.C.H. then decides to sabotage the transfer request, so they go to Susan's building. After waiting for hours, all the girls had fallen asleep, with Taranee falling asleep last. They all have nightmares, and barely wake up: Taranee learns that anything that happens in the dream happens to them in real life. She discovers that someone is invading there dreams, using their deepest fears to conjure up dream images of there imagination.

Taranee leaves to find a new way to combat the new threat while the rest of the girls take care of the transfer request. Taranee returns, and suggests lucid dreaming, making it possible to control their own dreams. They also sleep close by each other, allowing the psychic invasion to localize them all into the same dream.

In the dream they discover that it was all Nerissa's doing, and blast her with psychic feedback to end the nightmare. After W.I.T.C.H talks to Susan about her plans and asks her to give Heatherfield another chance, and she agrees.


6 (32)- "F is for Facades"[]

Airdate: 17 July 2006

Disappointed at Caleb because of his decision to stay on Meridian, Cornelia goes on a date with Taranee's older brother Peter, disguised as her 'older' sister Lillian. The other girls follow, Elyon, Caleb and Lillian included. Meanwhile, Caleb swallows his pride and tries to ice-skate for Cornelia despite his lack of skills. Only they are interrupted when a distress call is heard from Meridian: The Knights of Vengeance have captured Drake, Aldarn, and his father, Julian. After the team arrives at Meridian, Caleb and Blunk are captured. W.I.T.C.H arrives to save them, and momentarily the girls believe Caleb and Julian to be gone. After realizing how upset she was without Caleb, Cornelia decides to break up with Peter and return to Caleb. During this episode, Cornelia reveals her power of being tall and Irma reveals her new ability of changing the colors of clothing.


7 (33)- "G is for Garbage"[]

Airdate: 24 July 2006

Blunk finds the Horn of Hypnos, but it gets stolen by Jeek. Irma then leaves for Meridian, along with Matt and Blunk. The three track Jeek's hiding spot, only to find out that the Knights of Vengeance got a hold of it. To make matters worse, Will, Taranee, Cornelia, Hay Lin and Matt are turned into trance marchers. It is now up to Irma and Blunk to save her friends. When Will blows the horn at Irma and Blunk, they use earplugs to fake their hypnotism to get close enough to the horn and destroy it. In the B-story, Irma is mad at Blunk for covering her garage in garbage and is forced by her father to clean it.


8 (34)- "H is for Hunted"[]

Airdate: 31 July 2006

Will creates an Astral Drop of herself, but Nerissa turns it into an Altemere, an exact duplicate of Will, including her feelings and memories, and what's even more serious, her powers.

While Will is trying to find it, Nerissa convinces it to take Will's place, and a battle erupts. The other girls try to help, but they can't tell which Will is the real Will, even in guardian form. The Altermere becomes good and is destroyed by Nerissa. Will convinces the Altemere to be absorbed into Will.

In the B-story, Will is forced by her mother to do laundry instead of help set up Mrs. Rudolph's good-bye party.


9 (35)- "I is for Illusion"[]

Airdate: 9 August 2006

The girls go on a vacation with Irma's family, and the girls had a bit of a rough time there, but they manage to cope with it, until Nerissa shows up and begins spreading distrust among them. Nerissa successfully frames Will of applying her power of quintessence into inanimate objects.

Later on, one of the objects moved outside their residence and the gang starts arguing. Suddenly, a glamoured Nerissa appears as The Oracle claiming to want to reclaim their powers because of distrust and absence of harmony.

One of the Guardians saw the Nerissa's shadow, and realized the truth. A battle had ensued and Caleb returns from Meridian to help out, and victory went to the Guardians.

In the B-story, Caleb and Blunk are fighting with the other Knights of Vengeance.


10 (36)- "J is for Jewel"[]

Airdate: 14 August 2006

The Guardians are divided, each of them on family vacations, but Hay Lin is the only one left at Heatherfield. The Knights of Vengeance attack Phobos's prison and manage to free their prince, and it is up to the Air Guardian to gather the girls so they can fight back. Meanwhile, Elyon wishes to know about her parents, and after giving her lies about them, Trill reveals herself to be Nerissa, and traps Elyon inside the jewel from Queen Weira's crown she'd given her earlier, stealing her powers and kidnapping Elyon. In the subplot, Hay Lin meets and falls head-over-heels for a boy named Eric.


11 (37)- "K is for Knowledge"[]

Airdate: 21 August 2006

W.I.T.C.H. gains new knowledge of their sorceress foe Nerissa, a former Guardian and one-time holder of the Heart of Kandrakar. They also gain knowledge from the Oracle about the old guardians, who they were and what happened to Cassidy the former guardians of Water. Meanwhile Will discovers her lightning and animating of objects is called Quintessence, Nerissa targets the Guardians in Meridan and they fight. Nerissa uses Divide and Conquer to get to the Guardians, by going after Taranee.

At school Taranee is in trouble when she is caught with Uriah and his gang including Nigel. After Uriah breaks the statue of "Old Man Sheffield".

Also Taranee decides to turn herself into a "bad girl" to go out with against her mother's will. By sneaking out to see Nigel Ashcroft. Taranee discovers that flames and contact lenses don't mix and when Nerissa arrives she doesn't know who she is as she missed the Kandraker meeting.

When Taranee returns home she's grounded and her mother is very angry.


12 (38)- "L is for Loser"[]

Airdate: 27 August 2006

Nerissa kidnaps Matt and Mr. Huggles and uses Quintessence to add them to her new Knights of Destruction as Shagon, the Hate and Khor, the Destroyer. She also creates Tridart, the Despair and Ember, the Pain out of ice and lava, respectively.

Meanwhile, Irma is faced with losing the friendship of her classmate, Martin Tubbs.

In the B-story, the radio station K-SHIP goes to Sheffield Institute and the members of the K-SHIP team are Irma, Martin, Uriah and Bess and Courtney Grumper.


13 (39)- "M is for Mercy"[]

Airdate: 9 September 2006

Shagon returns to Heatherfield as his old self, Matt, and goes after Will and her mom. Will is fighting with her mom because her mom drags her on a date with Mr. Collins.

On the date Will and her mom have a huge fight and Will walks away and comes face to face with Shagon, who attacks her and she's without the other Guardians for help. Meanwhile, Nerissa corrupts Cassidy's spirit into joining her.

In the B-story, Will begins not being angry for her mother's and teacher's relationship. Will still is confused on her way of life, fighting in human form and in Guardian form is wearing her down. Then they ate fried chicken.

NOTE: It is implied that the reason why Shagon is so merciful towards Will is because he still harbors Matt's strong romantic feelings for her.


14 (40)- "N is for Narcissist"[]

Airdate: 16 September 2006

In Kandrakar, W.I.T.C.H. tell the Oracle about the Knights of Destruction. He wonders how he could not see them coming. While searching for the answer, the Mage (Nerissa in disguise) tells the W.I.T.C.H. that until the Oracle regains his 'vision' they must be the eyes of the Oracle.

Back on Earth, Cornelia reveals to Irma and Taranee that she signed them up for the car wash. While the W.I.T.C.H. are gagging at Coach O'Neil in cut-off, the Knights of Destruction attack Kandrakar, the Fortress of Infinity, while Nerissa (still posing as the Mage) corrupts the former Guardian of Fire, Halinor.

Blunk goes to Earth and tells the girls about the attack on Kandrakar. By accident, Cornelia receives the power of a Quinto-Guardian, possessing all five elements, and Nerissa tries to use this to her advantage.

Fortunately, the other W.I.T.C.H. come just in time to remind Cornelia that 'being C alone is not cool'.


15 (41)- "O is for Obedience"[]

Airdate: 23 September 2006

While Irma is trying to organize a concert for hit singer Vance Michael Justin, Caleb learns that Nerissa is his mother and confronts her in her hideaway at Mount Thanos.

As the Guardians fight the Knights of Destruction, Nerissa tries to convert Caleb to her cause, but fails.

In the B-story, Irma and Martin start flirting, and Irma overcomes her control issues.


16 (42)- "P is for Protectors"[]

Airdate: 30 September 2006

Nerissa and her Knights of Destruction attack Zamballa, a world of purple foliage with a population of moving trees, disguised as the Guardians, and when W.I.T.C.H. arrives to stop them, they are forced to fend off the Zamballians and their leader, Queen Kadma the former Guardian of Earth.

Also, Taranee is in a vicious mood because of her mother's dislike of her boyfriend, Nigel.


17 (43)- "Q is for Quarry"[]

Airdate: 7 October 2006

W.I.T.C.H. pursues Nerissa and her Knights on Zamballa. They unknowingly falling in her trap, and lose Kadma and the Heart of Zamballa in the process. Will meets her father's girlfriend, Sarina Sanchez, and thinks she is Nerissa in disguise. Will hires Blunk to spy on Sarina.

In the B-story, Will meets her father's girlfriend, Serena Sanchez and thinks she's another Nerissa's disguise, and she hires Blunk to spy on Serena.


18 (44)- "R is for Relentless"[]

Airdate: 14 October 2006

The girls are trying to protect Yan Lin, the last remaining guardian, by hiding her in a cave, but the Knights of Destruction discovers their hiding place. So W.I.T.C.H then decides to hide her in plain sight - in Sheffield's cafeteria!

However. the Knights of Destruction and Nerissa chase Hay Lin, Yan Lin and Blunk from one dimension to another. While Nerissa and Hay Lin fight, Halinor, disguised as the principal, takes Yan Lin away to Nerissa's cell on Mount Thanos, where W.I.T.C.H then reunites.

Nerissa attempts many times to get Yan Lin to join her, but she refuses. Hay Lin frantically battles Nerissa for Yan Lin's freedom, and succeeds. Hay Lin is then once again at peace knowing her Grandma is safe.

In the B-story, Hay Lin has a bad luck when her Chinese cookies don't contain her future, however in the end it is revealed that Blunk removed the papers, thinking they were a choking hazard. Hay Lin in the end picks one that says "The future is in your hands..."


19 (45)- "S is for Self"[]

Airdate: 21 October 2006

Matt manages to regain complete control over his body and mind, while Nerissa deprives her Knights of Destruction of their power to empower the old Guardians.

Nerissa trapped Yan Lin inside her seal and decides to create an Altermere (a living duplicate with the memories and powers of the one replicated/cloned).

In the B-story, K-SHIP decides to organize the battle of the bands.


20 (46)- "T is for Trauma"[]

Airdate: 4 November 2006

Nerissa appears disguised as a student at Sheffield, but is soon uncovered and a battle ensues after the Guardians try to steal the Seal of Nerissa.

The girls were loosing fighting element on element, but won by switching their enemies, knowing that element against element will only make them lose as the former Guardians had stronger and more experienced powers.

In the B-story, Hay Lin and Eric Lyndon start dating.


21 (47)- "U is for Undivided"[]

Airdate: 11 November 2006

It is revealed that Lillian is actually the Heart of Earth, its source of magic, and the Guardians have to protect her, while Cornelia attempts to gain her sister's trust.

Lillian accidentally turns her cat into a familiar and creates a glamour zone around her home, based on Cornelia's bedtime story. The guardians clean up the mess, and Matt, Mr. Huggles and Napoleon, Lillian's pet cat, become the Regents of Earth.

In the B-story, Cornelia starts being happy for her sister.


22 (48)- "V is for Victory"[]

Airdate: 18 November 2006

Will makes a deal with Prince Phobos, since only the heir to the Meridian throne can claim its Heart, which is within the Seal of Nerissa. In exchange for freedom he is obliged, to return the Heart.

Phobos swears an oath on the power of Kandrakar that he will not use the power of the seal for himself. Irma discovers a way to free the Cassidy, Halinor, Kadma, and Yan Lin's altermere form Nerissa's control. In turn, Nerissa absorbs the old Guardians into her seal, gaining total elemental control.

In the B-story, Will is having a rampage against Mandy at the swimming competition.


23 (49)- "W is for Witch"[]

Airdate: 28 October 2006

Phobos convinces the Guardians to release Cedric and Miranda for more protection. Meanwhile, as it is Halloween, the one night in the year when a Heart can be taken by force, the Guardians have to protect Napoleon, as he is Lillian's familiar. The race is on to keep Napoleon away from Nerissa, but thankfully the girls are able to walk around in Guardian form because of the holiday. Phobos tricks Nerissa and assumes control over her Seal. Meanwhile, Irma is forced to take her brother Chris, Lillian, and Blunk trick-or-treating, only to discover that her crush Andrew Hornby likes to trick-or-treat too. Irma gives Chris and Lillian a crash-course in how to get the most candy, using her own powers to help.

Note: This episode was aired before "T is for Trauma", "U is for Undivided" and "V is for Victory" on the weekend before Halloween 2006.


24 (50)- "X is for Xanadu"[]

Airdate: 9 December 2006

Phobos returns to Meridian and begins conquering it with his new powers. While the Guardians are trying to stop him, Hay Lin has to complete an art project on Xanadu, her vision of paradise. Meanwhile, Hay Lin has lied to her parents that Yan Lin left for a vacation in China to see distant relatives.

In the B-story, Hay Lin has to complete an art project on Xanadu, her vision of paradise.


25 (51)- "Y is for Yield"[]

Airdate: 16 December 2006

Final exams coincide with a test of cosmic strength, as the Guardians hold the future of the Universe in their hands. C.H.Y.K.N, Elyon and Yan Lin Altermere, who are trapped on the scepter of Phobos, attempt contacting Taranee to inform the Guardians that Caleb and Blunk are in danger. Will reveals her secret plot to defeat Phobos to everyone, including the recruitment of some of their former enemies to their side. Only just as things are looking up, a large twist interrupts things.

In the B-story, C.H.Y.K.N., Elyon and Yan Lin Altermere, who are trapped on the scepter of Phobos, try to talk with Taranee by telepathy, but they make on her the migraine attack and Taranee must get over from it to study for exam.


26 (52)- "Z is for Zenith"[]

Airdate: 23 December 2006

After Cedric swallowed Phobos, he decides with Miranda to seek revenge on everybody. Cedric decides to attack Heatherfield and he orders Miranda to destroy the Aurameres. W.I.T.C.H. and Matt leave to Earth.

As Cedric leaves, Raythor reveals he, Sandpit and Gargoyle are good. Miranda tries to destroy the Aurameres, but she's stopped by Caleb, Blunk, Raythor, Gargoyle, Sandpit and Luba. Meanwhile, Cedric arrives to Heatherfield and Matt, Mr. Huggles and Napoleon turn Heatherfield into a magical area to prevent anyone from seeing Cedric or W.I.T.C.H. The battle starts.

C.H.Y.K.N., Elyon and Yan Lin's Altermeres tells W.I.T.C.H. the only way to defeat Cedric is "touching" the Four dragons and the nymph Xin Jing. W.I.T.C.H touches the dragons and defeat Cedric. Phobos, Elyon, C.H.Y.K.N. and Yan Lin's Altermeres leave Cedric's body and Phobos' scepter is destroyed. Nerissa leaves the harmony and frees herself from the crashed scepter.

Nerissa recalls the scepter Seal of Nerissa and daydreams about taking over the all worlds and taking from them the hearts. This forces Nerissa return to the scepter and free the others. Nerissa's scepter turns into Heart of Meridian and Heart of Zamballa again. W.I.T.C.H. lost their humanity by turning into full elemental form; however, through Matt's, Elyon's, Cassidy's, Halinor's, Kadma's and Double Yan Lin's efforts, their humanity is back and Matt, Mr. Huggles and Napoleon breaks the spell.

Elyon reabsorbs the Heart of Meridian's power, and Julian takes the stone that was the Heart of Meridian (with Nerissa inside) and takes it to Megenzjan Falls. All villains return to their jail cells. Meridian has once again become good.

Elyon returns to her throne and Raythor decides to be her guardian. Halinor and Luba releases the Oracle, Althor and Tibor. Kadma gives the Heart of Zamballa to Ironwood. Cassidy is reunited with her mother. Yan Lin introduces to her family her "twin sister Mira", who's really the Altermere. W.I.T.C.H. spends all their time with their boyfriends.

In the B-story, W.I.T.C.H. meet the computer teacher Pr. Raphael Sylla, who in reality is an agent of the FBI. Raphael is seen earlier in the episode with Riddle, leaving a cliffhanger for the as of yet non-existent Season 3.
